23 year old Union Sportive defender,James Olufade and 22 year old keeper,Bassa Djeri Saibairou have been named in the Togolese squad face Algeria in a game counting for day 5 of the ongoing 2019 AFCON qualifiers.
James Olufade had a good 2018 season with USD and has since the end of the season won 3 caps for Togo in just 2 months since his debut against Benin in Lome in September.
Olufade is in the squad with another Cameroon based Togolese,Bassa Djeri Saibairou of Cotonsport of Garoua.The deputy goalkeeper for Cotonsport has been the mainstay in coach Claude Le Roy’s team for a longer time than Olufade.
The Hawks Togo will be at the Municipal Stadium in Lome to receive the Desert Foxes of Algeria at 4 PM on November 18 2018 and the Squad trusted with the responsibility of doing the job includes,Star forward, Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor.

Togo occupies the 3rd spot in Group D with 5 points,2 points away from the top position occupied by Visitors, Algeria.
Claude Le Roy won the AFCON with Cameroon in 1988,James Olufade has been in Cameroon for over 5 years now and the 2019 AFCON will take place in Cameroon.
Earlier in the qualifying campaign,Olufade told this reporter that Cameroon is his second home and he will be excited to participate in the AFCON in his second home.
